Rebecca Rand Kirshner was an executive story editor and writer on Buffy. She wrote the episodes Out of My Mind, Listening to Fear, Tough Love, Tabula Rasa, Hell’s Bells, Help, Potential and Touched. My respect level for Rebecca Rand Kirshner just zoomed up. She wrote two of my overall favourite Buffy moments! The scene in Tabula Rasa when the Scoobies wake up in the Magic Box after the forgetting spell has kicked in cracks me up EVERY time (”Randy Giles?! Why not just called me Horny Giles or Desperate-For-A-Shag Giles?!”). It’s comic genious. And words can’t express how much I love the Buffy/Spike stuff in Touched.
