Robin was also one of the stars (well, a “recurring cast member”) of “Brothers,” a Showtime original comedy series (’84-’89), which was ground-breaking in its realistic writing for gays (one of the brothers was gay, one was a jock, and one was a good-hearted but dumb redneck). Robin (who was spelling her last name “Riker” at that time) played Kelly, a wise-cracking waitress.
