Sunday

Sunday

Sunday was a blonde, goth, bossy vampire whose group ruled over UC Sunnydale, killing and siring new students and pretending they had left college due to stress. Sunday’s gang stole the student’s belongings and had a competition of student posters: Monet vs Klimt. Sunday fought and beat Buffy when she was still shaky about starting college, but Xander gave Buffy new confidence and the Slayer staked Sunday in The Freshman.

I absolutely LOVED the end fight between Buffy and Sunday, particularly when Oz and the scoobies come in right at the end after Buffy’s kicked her butt and Oz asks her if she needs help, and Buffy throws the stake (that clip is fantastic! and SO hot!) at Sunday and turns, shrugs, and goes “I’m good.”

That is Buffy at her ass-kicking best :o)

    2. AnyasFloppyEars says:

I must confess I found Sunday rather saucy. If you look at the series, so few of the powerful villains are female. Dru is occasionally powerful, but just as often insane; Faith is only occasionally a villain; Glory is only occasionally a woman.

Sunday came from a powerful position - knowing the turf, age, experience - and Buffy was new and confused, even though she’d just destroyed a 300ft snake by blowing up her old school.

Whatever the who, Sunday was hot.

    3. slightlyembarrased says:

I would most definitely have let Sunday turn me. She was devilishly sinister, and…well, that is always attractive in a woman.

    4. hannah_wish01 says:

i didnt like her purely because she hurt buffy!!! damn her lol!

    5. MissKittyFantastico says:

I’m not a boy either and to be fair i don’t think sunday was hot, not at all. i just loved seeing her get her arse kicked !

    6. slightlyembarrased says:

She was far from pretty. But she was evil…and evil is always hot.

    7. MissKittyFantastico says:

glory on the other hand…. she was pretty damn foxy ;o)

    8. slightlyembarrased says:

Glory was on a different level…She was Hell-God HOT!

    9. hannah_wish01 says:

well there sure were uglyer evils!

    10. MissKittyFantastico says:

lol, aye, she certainly was. I didn’t think much of Clare in Bring It On (I thought the character was good), but when she came in to Buffy as Glory it was just like “Hello” !! Her wardrobe was fantastic - that red dress in particular is very nice ;o)

    11. slightlyembarrased says:

If you check out Clare Kramer at internet movie database (imdb.com), there are some pictures of her that show what a truly beautiful woman she is. Also, on the season 5 overview on the DVD set, she is interviewed, and comes across as a really sweet, demure and modest chick.

    12. MissKittyFantastico says:

Cool, I have googled her quite a lot (thankfully she’s older than 17 te he he) and found some nice pics.

    13. i_luv_spike says:

I didnt really like Sunday, but it was really cool how Buffy staked her at the end.

    14. MissKittyFantastico says:

The staking of Sunday is probably my favourite staking of the whole series. Just the way she turns round, lobs it, and then shrugs “I’m good” afterwards. Pure Class.

    15. becsug says:

The Klimt vs Monet student posters gag still cracks me up.

    16. tadpole says:

I liked the Sunday character. When she said, “freshman,” in just the right mercurial tone, I fell in love. The metaphor was spot on perfect.

    17. NotFadeAway says:

Sunday was really a great one-episode villian. In “The Freshman” she was awesome, but I have to believe that it would have been sort of annoying if she had appeared in more episodes. At least that’s my opinion.
