This really isn’t a goof (I guess), just more of a thing that I don’t buy and that bugs me. In The Dark Age, Giles wants Buffy to meet him outside the hospital at “8:30 sharp.” That night, Buffy has enough time to wait around for him, attempt to call him, fight the bad guys, talk with Angel, and run/walk to Giles’. When she gets there, they talk for minute and then he pushes her away. He then calls Deidre and says, “I realize it is 5 in morning there.” If it was 5:00AM in London, it would be 9:00PM in Sunnydale (southern California). So all the time between Buffy getting to the hospital and Giles making the phone call was all in half in hour? It isn’t impossible, just improbable (Of course, I am assuming Deidre was still London which isn’t too farfetched). |
