[5.02-07.23] Out of sync

Goof seen in: Real Me at 07.23

In Real Me, there are two instances where the lip movements and the words spoken are out of sync. The first time is when Buffy, Giles and Dawn are in the car driving to the Magic Box (7.23 minutes into the episode). Giles says, “Dawn, will you stop fiddling with the radio and sit down?” but you can see that his lips aren’t in time with his words.

The second time is when Joyce is getting ready to go out and Xander has arrived to babysit Dawn (17.55). Xander says to Joyce, “Have fun. Not too much fun, though”. We can see Xander’s face and hear his voice but it’s clear that his lips aren’t moving.

Mel, I’ll take a look at this as soon as I can. I’ve a list of goofs a mile long to check out!

    2. Mel says:

No problem Jess - I am gonna try and get the times for you later - if my PC doesn’t work again - I will use the DVD player when the kids are in bed.

I dont have a chance at the moment - if I turn Cartoon Network off there will be tantrums…lol.

    3. Mel says:

      Hey Jess

My PC decided to play after all.

The times for these goofs are:

Giles out of sync happens at 7 mins 25 secs.

Xanders is at 17 mins 58 secs.

      Hope this is accurate enough,

      Mel

Thanks - I checked this out earlier on and will add your goof properly tonight. My DVD was a couple of seconds earlier than yours but it doesn’t matter.

    5. Mel says:

Yours is probably right - by the time I watched for the goof and then looked to check the time a few seconds would have passed - never thought of that….

OK, I’ve added your trivia to the site now. Thanks for your help.
