In The Initiative, Spike said he was 126 years old. However in this episode, we discover he was vamped in 1880 which would make him about 6 yrs old when he was sired. |

I’m not sure about this but are you counting how old he was when he was sired

Maybe he doesn’t count when he was human, and only began counting when he was vamped

Even so, he’s still off by a few years. Maybe he’s just bad at math. He is a poet after all :)

I’m sure it was a goof on the writers’ part, still Spike could’ve been purposefully subtracting a few years. You know, vanity and all.
