Do any of you remember Aimee Mann as lead singer of ‘Til Tuesday? Or have I just aged myself by about 20 years?

    2. somethingblue says:

Of course we remember ‘Til Tuesday, although I’m certain this does in fact, date us, but surely some young-uns remember “Voice Carry” at least?!

    3. somethingblue says:

oops, forgot the “S”, that’s Voices Carry - and gee, I had that on tape. I must stop revealing these disturbing secrets!

    4. Jet says:

she sounds like the woman who sang the song in one of the carebear movies(the old one)…lol. but i bet it’s just similar singing style. i remember the silliest things.
i loved how in that episode they actually gave someone in the band something to do besides perform. she had a line! how cool is that?!

    5. beagle says:

That was so fuuuunnny when she busted out with that vampire town line. I guess in no small part because it was so surprising.

It is times like these I wish I were more into the bands of Buffy…can I pick up her CD at a local record shop near me?

    7. somethingblue says:

abby - get hooked on itunes immediately, there are all of these cool suggested play lists with hundreds of Buffy songs. Plus, I’m pretty sure there was a Buffy CD (called “Radio Sunnydale” I think) that you can get on Amazon. You must jump wholeheartedly into the music that made the show extra cool!

      Flippin’ sweet!

But, you see, the last time I went to a concert in Chicago(The Cure at the Rosemont back in ‘97, I think), a drunk guy behind us pulled out his peepee (as little Joey calls it) and starting spraying the legs of whole row of peeps (husband, sister, brother-in-law). I’m still scarred from that experience. But I will give it some very serious consideration. I do have my laydees up there that I haven’t seen for awhile so I could make a trip of it.

I just whipped out my Buffy Planner (no kidding, it was a gift) and Feb 1 is on a Wednesday, hmmm. Difficult, what with who will take care of my children and all…

    11. somethingblue says:

Yes, it’s the same planner and I’m not even a student! I will check out the Park West website (I was out of town all weekend)…and peeing men…gross!
