Donny was Tara’s brother who, along with Tara’s father and cousin, visited her on her birthday in Family. He aided his father to repress the women of the family by pretending they turned into demons on their 20th birthdays.
There were so many names of people throughout the series, and some are bound to sound like versions of main characters’ names, I guess. It doesn’t bother me at all, but maybe it does someone else.

They do it so the women will stay with the family and be their slaves (cooking, cleaning, etc.).

Does it bother anyone else that his name is Donny? It’s just too close to Dawnie. You’d think one of the writers would have changed it.
