 Tara was a shy and insecure witch who met Willow at a Wicca meeting in college (Hush). The two became friends, and practised magic together. They fell in love and came out as a couple and Tara blossomed. She cared very much about Willow, and also about Dawn who she was very close to, sensing that she too wasn’t properly part of the Scoobies. Tara’s family came to Sunnydale and the Scoobies realised that they had been repressing Tara by telling her she was part-demon, which she wasn’t at all (Family). The Scoobies, led by Buffy, stood up for Tara and she became an integral member of their group. When Willow started to use magic too much, Tara warned her that it could be dangerous but Willow couldn’t stop. Tara left Willow, and they only got together again when Willow could prove that she no longer was addicted to magic. Tara was tragically shot soon after by Warren and died suddenly (Seeing Red). I loved Tara and was so sad when she died. I’m also glad they picked Amber Benson as Tara.

I hated the way they killed her, but I guess it was important…
I did miss her a lot trough season 7 though…
every scene between kennedy and willow just didnt seem right anymore… I really loved tara with willow..

I loved Tara, she was such a lovely person and the character’s development through season 4, 5 and 6 was really fascinating and well written. Willow and Tara were so good together, and good for each other. I agree that Kennedy and Willow didn’t feel quite right but when Kennedy sees Willow work her magic in Chosen and tells her she’s a Goddess is a real tear-jerker for me!!

yes i agree with you there too, although Tara and willow were for me a perfect couple (before the hole death thing) i have to admit that kennedy too was , in my opininion, a nice partner for willow and someone who made her happy especialy in the scene stated above in chosen.
