Dracula’s defeat

The following was an alternative ending to Buffy vs Dracula:

Buffy arms herself with a lit torch, when Giles and Riley burst into the room:
The arrival of her entourage is the final straw for Dracula. He fixes Buffy with a final look, full of both pain and fury.
Dracula: “What a shame. You could have been great, you know.”
With that, he flings himself out the massive window-shattering it.
EXT. DRACULA’S CASTLE-NIGHT
Dracula, having changed into a wolf, comes flying out the window. He hits the ground and lopes into the dark woods.

    1. MagicBone says:

i think that if they were going to have Spike and Dracula be rivals, they should have had Dracula make some crack about Spike or something

    2. TwoToGo-Grave says:

The only problem with that is that they problaby weren’t rivals. It seems clear that Spike only said that stuff to make himself sound good. He may have met Dracula, but Dracula probably wouldn’t even remember Spike (as Spike is sort of beneath him). Spike’s mention of Dracula is incredebly funny, though.

    3. MissKittyFantastico says:

I love the way Spike says Drac owes him 11 quid! It’s like, if Dracula owed ME 11 quid I’d quite happily let him off it ;o)

I do love the part at the beginning of the episode where Buffy first meets Dracula and goes “Care to step on up for some over-time?” - she looks so hot when she says that!!

    4. hannah_wish01 says:

yeah i gotta admit she has alot of attitude when she says that!! very cool

    5. MissKittyFantastico says:

great start to the season. and what a bloody good season it was too.

    6. slayed says:

I like the alternative ending - Dracula escapes into the woods as a wolf. It was a kinda hokey and a little too campy with him disappearing into a puff of smoke. They probably could not afford the CGI or it was budgeted for later in the Season.
