Angel originally comes from Galway, in the west of Ireland, though his accent comes from somewhere near Mars. Darla sired him there in 1753 (seen in the episode Becoming (Part 1)). In Surprise, Angel gave Buffy a Claddagh ring. Claddagh was a small fishing village near Galway, which is now a part of the city. |
