In Helpless, we see Zachary Kralik kill one of the Watcher’s Council, Blair. (17mins approx). How did Kralik managed to Blair and make him into a vampire. He only had one arm free (wee see him free the other arm later when he is released from the box). He had to bite Blair and then make himself bleed for the Blair to suck his blood and there is no way he could have done this with one arm. In order to cut himself to release some of his blood he would have had to have dropped Blair, and seeing as he was still trapped in the box, there was no way he could pick Blair back up again. |

Maybe his lips were bleeding and when he bit Blair, their blood mixed. Or would that be enough, anyway? Hmmm …

Maybe Kralik told Blair to cut him and then suck his blood. It’s supposed to be hard to resist being sired if you are near death from blood loss.

I like the bleeding lips idea. That seems like it could be very possible. If I’m not mistaken, weren’t his lips chapped, like, in all of the close-ups? (I could be wrong. I would have to go back and look.)
And the hard-to-resist-siring thing is also a good theory. The most obvious example of this would have to be Darla’s siring of Angel. It’s all ‘Ooo! Look! I just bit you! And look at that! You just can’t resist sucking on my chest can you?’ Well, not that it hurts that it’s her chest but SO not the point. It seems as though he knew exactly what it was that he was supposed to do when she shoved his head into her chest. He didn’t even question the fact that he was about to suck not-so-human blood.

Whether the lips were already chapped, or Kralik bit them to make himself bleed, the image of lip-locked men was studiously unfilmed! A grown man desperately sucking at a pyscho’s mouth probably a bit much for prime time?

I would say so!
