Joss Whedon said that he has always wanted to put a character in the credits the episode where he/she died, and had planned to do this in the opening credits in the first few episodes with Jesse (who was killed in The Harvest) to show that the show had lots of surprises. He wasn’t able to make it because he didn’t have the money at the time to make another set of credits. |

but he did it with tara in ’seeing red’ i don’t get why she wasn’t in any of the opening credits as a main carachter anyway, she was always in it seemingly. hmmm!, but she does do that blowing thing with some sort of powder in the opening credits for either season 5 or 6 i can’t remember which maybe both!

I always wondered why she wasn’t in the credits. And it’s season 6 where she does the blowy thing…I watched Hells Bells about 2 hours ago

Hey, watching the run of the series again is big fun. My brother and I got our dad watching it about a year and a half ago by watching all the episodes in order with him (he just didn’t like it as much as we do). It was great to see them from start to finish, rather than just picking random episodes, as we usually do. It may be pointless to state this, but I figured that I’d mention it anyway.
