Spike also says ‘and I’m nearly out of that nancy boy hair gel I like so much’ in In The Dark.

I love that whole scene in In The Dark, I have the whole thing memorized! I like Buffy more than Angel but I have to say, the scene where Spike is mocking Angel and the girl is one of my all time favorite moments from either series.

It’s been said before, but it’s worth repeating: the Angel-Spike petty male bickering is damn funny, or rather, it’s, um, . . . effulgent.

Oh, yeah. So, I meant to ask, does Spike ever assign the ‘nancy-boy’ moniker to Angel?

Abby M. summed up how I feel. I absolutely adore that scene, the bit about “prancing away like a magnificent poof” gets me every time!

When Spike is fighting the demon in “Get It Done”, he says “Come on, nancy is that all you got?” or something like that. Not a nancy boy moment, but unless it’s a female demon, we can safely say it counts.
