I think that was a little too much trust in Angel, because he nearly did, and wouldn’t have stopped except that his tummy was full.

I think he did get very carried away. I think it was because he’s not drank from a human in, like, a hundred years.

I guess Buffy didn’t consider it the same thing as it was with Dawn, there have always been special rules for her…

It’s a different situation. Dawn was comitting suicide over a guy. Buffy was saying “No guy is worth killing yourself over.” Buffy was risking her life to save someone. She would have (and has) risked her life to save any of her friends and indeed plenty of strangers.
