We see in The I in Team that Spike has moved into a new crypt. He was moving his stuff out of Xander’s in A New Man.

      I always wondered why he didn’t go back to the mansion… surely it would have been far more comfortable for him?

      Maybe because the mansion held too many bad memories? Being in a wheelchair, Dru and Angelus…and also Angel lived there after coming back from hell, and there’s no way Spike would want to associate himself with his “poofy grand-sire” in any way.
