i wasnt sure where to put this but when the master wants the first victim he says “Bring on the first”. In the next episode (Amends) Angel is tormented by The First.

If a vampire is completely controling the whole of Sunnydale, how come the Slayer hasnt been sent in before that to stop him? I mean, fair enough there is another Hell mouth elswhere, but things in Sunny D seemed pretty dire. Surely she could have taken a weekend out to kill the matser.
