Buffy arrives at the club an hour or two early to talk Ford out of becoming a vampire. Spike arrives a few minutes later - so Buffy couldn’t have been that early at all. |

She did show up some time before sunset, but obviously not too long before. She probably didn’t expect any vampires to show up until way later, I guess. If she expected them at all, it was never stated.

Ford told her to meet him at 9 o clock i think. she went to the club early to try and talk him out of whatever she thought he was going to do. This was ford’s plan all along. Spike arrived around 5:45 cos of sunset.

she showed up early, they don’t show the entire time she’s there waiting for spike to show up. I just watched the episode again and its pretty clear they had been there a while
