Drew Goddard

Drew has written five Buffy episodes: Selfless, Conversations with Dead People, Never Leave Me, Lies My Parents Told Me and Dirty Girls. He has also written for Angel (’Lineage‘, ‘Damage’, ‘Why We Fight‘, ‘Origin’ and ‘The Girl in Question‘) and appeared in Firefly (as ‘Guy on Planet’ in the episode ‘The Train Job’). Drew is now a co-producer and writer on Alias.
Drew said at the Bronze Beta that he’s been a Buffy fanatic since the early days. This is obvious from his references to early Buffy storylines. Drew’s first Buffy script (Selfless) was also his first TV script.

      Gotta love this guy. His first five episodes of TV ever, and they were amazing. Granted, he had help on a few of them, but still. Plus: Funny!

      I’m confused by the listing of “1943.” That episode is entitled “Why We Fight.” Is there some sort of alternate title to that one or something?

      Hi - I’m confused by it too and have changed it to Why WE Fight. I can’t remember where I got his writing credits from either. I’m not as big a fan of Angel so wouldn’t have picked up on that if you hadn’t mentioned it!
