I was watching Primeval today and when Riley pulled the chip, I had a strange feeling that he was going to eat it. I’m not sure why ….

That’s hilarious, MagicBone! You thought he was going to eat it! You know, there’s a name for that, having a craving to eat non-edible items, pregnant women get it sometimes…can’t think of it…

ok, found it! PICA: An abnormal craving or appetite for nonfood substances, such as dirt, paint, or clay…Maybe that’s why Riley was so messed up in season 5! He had this strange eating disorder, pica!

My friend, her sister attempted suicide (not the funny part yet) and was sent to a rehab clinic or the psych ward or something, not sure, but she met this girl who was there because she ate weird stuff like part of a mattress and chalk and soap and a lot of her own hair. And possibly behavior modification chips.
