The above statement is true, but this seeming inconsistancy might be explained if we take one step further. We know that Aud became a vengence demon just after cursing Olaf, at which time we can also assume she acquired her new name. Hence it is feesible that Olaf and Anyanka (now) met again just shortly after all of this transpired–maybe she’s gloating, and so he has the knowledge come Selfless that she is (has been) Anyanka and a vengence demon.
