That gravestone was a sod when they first played The Gift in England. Cuase every single advertisement break on Sky had that gravestone popping up as the first image on a Buffy advertisement, spoiling the end of the season. Not a bit of a giveaway, showing us a gravestone with Buffy’s name on it!
Just before the Season 7 finale was on Sky, I had the remote ready at every ad break, ready to change the channel at the very first hint of a Buffy advert. They always give away what’s going to happen and they were on *every* ad break.

Puja - I remember that too well. It drove me mad. I also remember turning on Teletext to check the weather or something and there was the headline “Buffy’s dead”. Thanks a bloody lot!
We used to always have the remote ready to turn over during ad breaks too. These people really don’t understand spoiles, do they?!
Another thing for me was that I was running this website whilst the show was still on, so I’d get a lot of people emailing me about what had happened in the show in the States - and hadn’t been shown over here. So it was VERY hard for me to avoid spoilers!
