Alexis Denisof was born on the East coast of America, lived in Seattle and New England and then moved to London when he was a teenager. His accent is an amalgamation of all these places, but when he plays Wesley he uses a British accent. |

Sorry, Alexis. But the accent used actually comes from the guy who plays the Principal in “USA High”.
There are lots of us in the UK that speak English really well - and many of us can remember lines. I still have a fit of the heebs when I hear the three “SAS Watchers” sent to bring back Faith, and realise that the studio had hired two UK people and one American doing his best Dick Van Dyke.
Why?
