Somehow Willy or Bill just don’t feel like Big Bad names for a vamp, though if he were a Western-style gunslinger that might have worked. Lucien, Prince of Lies, while better than the other two, still doesn’t fit our dear William-turned-Spike.

Its neat that in ‘Why We Fight’ in season five of ‘Angel’, we see a vampire called the Prince of Lies. I wonder if that was an allusion to this deleted line.
