urm…Osiris also had a son before he was resurrected, his wife managed to get sperm from him whilst he was dead, impregnated herself, but that may have been the second time he was resurrected.

ive often thought that, willow killed osiris, thats pretty big, also for all you egyptian myth fans, osiris had 3 sons by his sister isis, (normal in egypt royal families) though i read once he had a fling with his other sister nephthys, (wife to his brother, evil seth, who was always trying to kill him.) anyway, nephthys had this baby which was anubis, god of embalment, but so seth didnt find out she was cheating she dumped the baby, who was picked up by isis and raised by her, so in actual fact, she was raising her own nephew/stepson… if im mentioning too much non buffy stuff, please tell me

yeah thats a point, did willow kill osiris in ‘villains’ when she was told that Tara could not be brought back? it looks as though she did, but i don’t see how she would have done. does anybody know for sure??

i’m sure osiris is just a little bit too big for willow to kill at that point. she probably just banished him from our dimension because he was of no use to her.

i like the way, when willow first calls on Osiris, that when she screams ‘bring her back’ it cuts to buffy, critically injured on the lawn, who blinks. it always makes me momentarily think that willow’s evocation worked, only on buffy not Tara. i know this is not really true, cause of osiris’ wrath at being summoned, but its an interesting bit of editing nonetheless.
