Polgara (the demon seen in The I in Team) is a character in the novel series by David Eddings: Polgara the Sorceress. She was an immortal sorceress with black hair, besides one single white lock. She could perform powers by “will”, just by just thinking about it. |

Nitpick mode on:
The series are actually called ‘The Belgariad’ (5 books) and ‘The Malloreon’ (also 5 books), and although only David Eddings is mentioned as author, the books were written in cooperation with his wife Leigh. A few years after these books were released, David and Leigh Eddings wrote three extra books: The rivan codex, Belgarath the sorceror and Polgara the sorceress.
The books are quite nice, it’s a bit humouristic fantasy.
