Principal Snyder

Snyder

Snyder joined Sunnydale High after Principal Flutie was eaten. He hated kids and took an instant dislike to Buffy and her friends. Even Joyce called him a “nasty little horrid bigoted rodent man”. He was aware of the presence of the Hellmouth and helped local police to cover up any weird activities in the school. Snyder also had a connection with the Mayor, who was the first person he called when he expelled Buffy. His involvement with the Mayor and his activities was actually less sinister than first made out as he was shocked when he thought he’d uncovered a drugs deal in the school, but was in actual fact faced with the Mayor and a box of weird spider-creatures. He seemed to know nothing about the Ascension and stood up to the Mayor when he changed into a demon, who eventually ate him.

Ok, so he’s not the most friendly person around, but such a funny character in the show! I loved him, he was a blast to watch :P But then again, the principles tend to get eaten..

A character that you loved to hate along with Buffy and the gang…was a good character though and was SO funny in Band Candy … was great to see him try to fit in with the gang that he was desperate to exclude in reality! He was always trying to find an excuse to expell Buffy. At one point it seemed like it was his daily mission to get her out of his school!

Was also really funny when he was trapped in the cafeteria with Buffy and the rest of the Scooby gang when the Mayor was tring to get the box back in exchange for Willow in Choices…spent the whole episode looking for students making trouble and then wanted to run away when he found them!!

Brilliant acting though the character was written well too! Is almost a shame he got eaten altho there wasn’t going to be a place for him in season 4 so you knew he would have to go! :)
