Slayer kids

Buffy

The revelation in First Date that a Slayer had a child is a new one to Buffy, who believed that most Slayers died before they reached an age to have kids. We learn that children of Slayers don’t inherit any powers from their mother, but they do like a good bit of revenge. Robin Wood was taken in by his mother’s Watcher after she died.

    1. Jess says:

Yikes, I just had a scary vision of a kind of “Muppet Babies” kind of TV show, only with cute Slayer kids instead.

    2. Abby M. says:

We would have to have Muppet Angel make a guest appearance! :)

    3. marvin21st says:

Just wondering if Robin Woods Mum was a slayer when she was pregnant. All sorts of difficulty there.

    4. MagicBone says:

Possibly…when Spike killed her in Fool For Love, she didn’t look that old at all and she didn’t seem that old in First Date either. But, Wood did say that he was only 3 when she died. So..?

    5. cyrax037 says:

Nickie was was 18 when she was pregnat with Robin. If you read The Watcher’s Diraries “Vol4″ I belive. It tells about her trial just like Buffy took when Giles Druged her to lose her strength. It tells in there that she is 18 and just found out that she was pregnet with Robin so she had to be about 21 when she died.

    6. somethingblue says:

Is the same actress who played Nickie in “Fool for Love” also the one who played Nickie in “First Date”? Because it appears to be a different actress entirely, just with the same hair.

    7. slightlyembarrased says:

Nope…in “Fool for Love”, Nicki was portrayed by April Weeden-Washington; in “First Date”, by K.D. Aubert.

    8. TwoToGo-Grave says:

cyrax037, no offense, but what this book(?) says does not carry any weight, as far as the continiuity and timeline of the show. We don’t know that she was pregnant at 18 or not, because it was never mentioned on the show. That’s just one opinion anyway.

    9. cyrax037 says:

Untill it is mentioned on the show I would have to assume that the book(whice tells the storys of the other slayers) is ture.

    10. TwoToGo-Grave says:

I disagree, but I guess we all have our own opinions on the subject.

    11. AnyaRocks says:

I always assumed it was the same person. I guess you learn summat new every day.

    12. hannah_wish01 says:

yeah i just looked at pictures of the two actresses on the web, the do look similar when in cosyume, but i supose it takes a keen eye to tell the difference, i always thought they were the same person too!

    13. TwoToGo-Grave says:

I only knew because I saw the names of the actresses the many times that I saw these episodes. If not, I doubt I would have ever noticed a difference, mainly since Whedon-Washington didn’t even speak.

    14. MagicBone says:

Well wasn’t April Wheedon-Washington just a stuntwoman? Like the girl that played the Chinese Slayer?
