Of course, we all really know what would have happened to Xander and Willow without the Buffster!

yeah, they would both be vampires. but would they really. Would thomas have turned willow or would he have just given her to the master to drink. And what happened to Darla and Luke in the wish/doppelgangland. how did two uber geeks become the masters favorites

I’m guessing the Master sensed some of the viciousness we all know Willow had inside her (as evidenced in season 6), and decided to turn her. Then Willow most likely turned Xander, since she was probably in love with him in that universe too. Then, somehow, both Luke and Darla got dusted and Xander and Willow got promoted. But this is all just theory.
