I wonder why the cut such small lines (they’re usually very good, like this one). Is it that bad if a chapter ends a minute later?

They’re definitely deleted. Maybe it’s a similar line you’re thinking of?

am sure that buffy said roughly the same line but left out the “do i have to kill it” part!
I guess if they left all of the little lines like this in then the episodes could really over run…it is a shame though…but there has to be a cut off point somewhere!!

Maby your thinking of Buffy’s line when she learns about her new watcher Wealsy and says,
-New watcher?Buffy
New watcher.Giles
-Is he evil?
Well, just realized it maby wasn’t so similar but it was the only line I could think off.:)

Or maybe the line Buffy said about the other new Watcher (Gwendolyn Post): “Interesing lady. Can we kill her?” A little more similar, but not by much.
