 Halfrek was a vengeance demon who specialised in vengeance for abandoned children. Halfrek was both a friend and rival of Anya. She was cynical of Anya’s relationship with Xander. Halfrek tricked Dawn into making a wish which locked the Scoobies in Buffy’s house during a party, as she realised Dawn was very lonely. I just thought Halfrek deserved a comment… She was a funny character, I enjoyed most of her scenes, particularly where she first arrives at Xanders and thinks she’s there to curse him!!
