Nemeses

In Conversations with Dead People, Holden says to Buffy, “Hey, wouldn’t it be cool if we became nemeses?” to which Buffy replies, “Is that how you say it?” This is a reference to the season six episode Gone, where Warren, Andrew and Jonathan reveal themselves to Buffy and struggle to …

Cassie

Four members of the main Buffy writing team contributed to the episode Conversations with Dead People: Marti Noxon wrote most of the Willow/Cassie story, Joss Whedon wrote most of the Buffy/Holden story, Drew Goddard wrote the Andrew/Jonathan/Warren story at the High School, and Jane Espenson wrote the Dawn/Joyce story. Learning about Jonathan

Danny Strong, who played Jonathan, read the script from the episode Conversations with Dead People with Tom Lenk (Andrew) on their way home from a convention. He apparently skipped the part where his character’s death was described and Tom had to break the news to him.

Ways to kill Wood

In Him, whilst under a love spell, Buffy goes to kill Principal Wood using a rocket launcher. She used one of these to kill the Judge in Innocence so it’s possible that it’s the same launcher - otherwise where would she have got it from?

Not worth your life

Buffy tells Dawn in Him, “No guy is worth your life, not ever”. Buffy must have learnt a lesson since she risked her life to save Angel by letting him drink from her in Graduation Day (Part 2).
