Eliza Dushku

Eliza

Eliza Dushku played the vampire Slayer Faith. Eliza was born on December 30, 1980 in Boston. Her middle name is Patricia. She was raised in a staunch Mormon household, though is not particularly religious. She is half Albanian and half Danish and has 3 older brothers named Aaron, Ben, and Nate, who is also an actor. Her parents are both college professors. Eliza was legally emancipated from her parents during the filming of Buffy because of strict laws on the hours that a minor is allowed to work.
Eliza was discovered aged ten at the end of a five-month search for the perfect girl to play the lead role of Alice opposite Juliette Lewis in the film That Night. Since then she has been in several films, and has worked with actors such as Robert DeNiro, Ellen Barkin, Leonardo DiCaprio, Paul Reiser, and Jim Belushi. Eliza played Arnold Schwarzenegger’s daughter in True Lies. She appeared in Bring it On (with Clare Kramer, who played Glory), Wrong Turn, The Kiss, Soul Survivors, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back and That 70’s Show. Eliza also starred in her own TV show Tru Calling.

      She’s my next wife!!

    2. ant4buffy says:

Loved her in Wrong Turn. The commentary for it is quite funny

    3. Saintsaucey says:

If not for the fact that she is mormon i’d fight you for her. She is quite the hottie. I advise watching Bring It On, True/Lies and Bye Bye Love

    4. Saintsaucey says:

Face itsome people are just complete idiots and shouldn’t be allowed access to the internet. For instance. The freaks who think that Dawn and Connor would be the perfect couple. As if. To think people yell at me for like Kennedy.

    5. Dawn says:

      ONE HOT WOMAN!
      love her…
      sexy and dangerous…
      and her voice… wow

    6. The_True_Xander says:

Was Amber in Bye Bye Love? I saw an ad for it on an old video I taped, but they looked so young I couldn’t tell for sure. Also, what happened to Tru Calling? I live in NZ so we get all the good American shows 9 months late. Is it still going?

    7. AnyaRocks says:

Tru Calling was cancelled after the 6th episode of Season 2, which is a HUGE shane because I love that show, poosibly more than Buffy (forgive me). I just bought it all on DVD.

    8. NotFadeAway says:

Actually, it was cancelled after five episodes in season two, but the sixth is on DVD (although it was not shown on FOX.) I think that the worst part about the show being cancelled is that it never even got a real chance at being successful, since FOX postponed the second season until March and cancelled it after five episodes.

    9. AnyaRocks says:

Oh sorry, I only got the DVD so I thought that they all got aired.

    10. TwoToGo-Grave says:

While I can’t say that it was nearly as good as BTVS, I do really like and care about the show, and I felt sick when it was cancelled with so much promise left that we didn’t get to see fulfilled.

    11. MissKittyFantastico says:

Yeah it’s a shame they didn’t continue it - Eliza was great in it and she totally deserved to have her own show being the lead character. I hope she’ll do another decent tv series (and that they actually show it in the UK on terrestrial if one is made!)

    12. lilyme says:

@ The_True_Xander: Yes, Amber was im Bye, Bye Love, alongside Lindsay Crouse (who played Maggie Walsh in Season 4); I believe Lindsay played Amber’s mother.
And I agree that it’s really a shame that they cancelled Tru Calling. It is one of my five all-time-favourite shows and I just bought the whole series on DVD
