I’ll bring you back

Xander says to Buffy in End of Days, “If you die, I’ll bring you back. It’s what I do.” He’s referring to Buffy’s previous two deaths: when he revived her in Prophecy Girl, and when he helped with the spell to bring her back to life in Bargaining (Part 1).

I always loved this line. Such a cute friendship moment over something serious. It was cool.

That whole scene is just so wonderful. It is so full of good feel, it just makes me good to watch it. It is fitting to have those two having that moment in the episode, seeing as how they’ve gone through so much and this will be the last chance that we get to see them have a moment like these (save for the great moment in ‘Chosen’ when they walk down the hall together).

    3. Abby M. says:

Oh yeah. That scene with Giles, replicating the end of The Harvest: Priceless. And then when Willow, Xander, and Buffy are walking down the hall, it was so cool. They had been through so much and they didn’t know if they would ever see each other again. It was a touching moment.
